New Pomegranates with a rustic look...

Right in the middle of summer, and the days are so hot... Yet the days are getting short, and that is the first sign that fall is coming soon... September will be the first time we'll start to feel a bit of the fall in the evenings, and in October the heat will finally go down a notch... .

Other than the heat, August for me, signifies the upcoming holiday of Rosh Hashana

New workshop and new necklaces

This post is  about new workshop in Israerl.

I know you are leaving so far away,,, but I like to tell you a little about this workshop:)

2 Years ago I knew Gal Ben Aharon, from the Internet... 

She is a very talented graphic designer. 

Recently, I met her in person for the first time.( at a big fair) (she sold  there, her design clothes )

We decided, to collaborate between graphic design and polymer clay.

And what is more suitable for it, than my my transfer papers?:)

In the workshop, the students will create  polymer clay home pendants, using Gal Ben Aharon lovely designs. 

Then, they will creat a  long "boho chic" necklaces

So this is an opportunity for me, to share with you, the beautiful necklaces and pendants that I created for the workshop. 

And maybe... who knows?

 Maybe next time you'll come to Israel and we will meet!

A new video with a small tip but important, and new pendants

Sometimes you should try and get out of your comfort zone... Well, maybe more often then sometimes...

This is how you do it: When you start working, and you find yourself drown to your usual techniques, size and shapes...

Turn the other way around:

If you make something small -   make it bigger.

If your hands draw a circle - draw a square instead!

When your head tells you to keep the colors toned down, make it a little bit more vivid and make it work...
And when you shop for supplies online, go for whatever strikes you as "Kitsch" or "Not what I'm looking for" at the first glance.

Those things are exactly what's on my desk right now:

A large square that owns the atmosphere, dangling from a kitschy necklace (Plastic is as kitsch as you can get...) with large links

                   They are all combination of my transfer teqnique and my cosmic ceramic teqnique. 

The chain itself is rather short (although this chain "required" length... because of it's size), so the medallion will take place on a lovely knit sweater or a witnrey tunic.

You mustn't throw away leftovers (it is known), instead: create pendants and brooches ,with surprising combinations
